About This Stack

This stack is designed to help educators create safe and inclusive classroom environments for LGBTQ students. Educators will explore ways to advocate for LGBTQ policies for students and colleagues, learn and use proper and respectful terminology, as well as design lesson plans that are LGBT student–inclusive. Educators also will also learn about intersections of race, gender, and sexual orientation and how to use this knowledge to create a positive learning community.
